This policy explains how Astral Anvil Software AB (“Astral Anvil”, “we”, “us”) handles personal data when you visit astralanvil.com or get in touch with us. It covers this website. Each of our apps describes its own data practices in its App Store or Google Play listing and, where needed, in a privacy policy of its own.

Visiting this website
This website doesn’t use analytics, advertising or any other tracking, and it doesn’t load content from third parties.
The site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. Like any web host, Cloudflare automatically receives technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the page you requested. Cloudflare uses this information to deliver the site and protect it against attacks and abuse, as described in the Cloudflare Privacy Policy. If Cloudflare needs to check that a visitor isn’t an automated bot, it may set a strictly necessary security cookie for that purpose. We only see aggregated statistics, such as the total number of visits, and we don’t use this information to identify visitors.
When you email us
If you email us, we process your email address, your name if you include it, and the contents of your message so that we can reply and follow up. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering questions sent to us (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). If your message concerns a purchase or an agreement with us, the legal basis is the performance of that contract (Article 6(1)(b)).
Our email is provided by Google Workspace, which processes messages on our behalf. We keep correspondence only for as long as we need it to handle your inquiry, unless the law requires us to keep it longer, for example under Swedish bookkeeping rules.
Sharing
We never sell personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business, such as the hosting and email providers named above, or when the law requires us to. Some of these providers may process data outside the EU/EEA. When they do, the transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you,
- have inaccurate data corrected,
- have your data deleted,
- restrict or object to our processing, and
- receive your data in a portable format.
